Our mean-reversion algo for TradingView, included with Pro. It fades moves that have stretched too far. It also confirms each entry before it fires. When volatility spikes, it stands aside instead of trading.
Quantum Edge looks for moves that have run too far. It trades the pullback instead of following the trend. Range-bound, back-and-forth markets are where it fits best.
μ
Confirms Every Entry
Every setup must pass the algo's own confirmation first. Setups that fail the check are skipped, not chased. So fewer setups get through, and that is by design.
θ
Stands Aside In Spikes
When volatility spikes, Quantum Edge stands aside instead of trading. It waits out the spike rather than trading inside it. A trade that is already open can still reach its stop.
λ
Your Firm's Limits
Daily loss and profit limits, trade limits and a set time to close trades. Set each one to match your firm's rule sheet. Then the algo applies them for you.

How To Use Quantum Edge.
This guide covers what Quantum Edge does and how to set it up. It ends with how to check it on your own chart.
In 60 Seconds
What it is. Quantum Edge is the second of our four algos. It runs as a strategy on your own TradingView chart.
What it does. It fades overextended moves, meaning moves that have stretched too far. Each entry must pass its own confirmation before it fires. When volatility spikes, it stands aside instead of trading.
Who it is for. Traders who want fewer, more selective entries, with tight risk on each trade. It is built for ranging markets, not for following trends.
Plans. It comes with Pro Monthly, at $90 a month. It also comes with Yearly Pro, at $270 a year. Core, at $60 a month, does not include it.
Version. v2 is the current public version on TradingView.
What it does not do. We do not trade for you or manage your account. It does not predict the market or promise results. It only knows your firm's rules once you enter them.
How It Behaves
Fades stretched moves. Quantum Edge trades against a move that has run too far. It aims for the pullback, not for more of the same move.
Confirms, then fires. A setup must pass the algo's own confirmation before an entry fires. It would rather skip a setup than force a weak one.
Stands aside through spikes. When volatility spikes, Quantum Edge stands aside instead of trading. A trade that is already open can still reach its stop.
A bracket on every alert. Each alert carries the trade's own target and stop. Your provider does not have to work anything out.
Markets
Index futures. Quantum Edge runs on the index futures contracts: MNQ, NQ, MES and ES.
Its own chart. Give it its own chart and its own alert. Run our other algos on separate charts.
Your First Day
Load it. Open a chart and click Indicators, or press /. Then choose Invite-Only Scripts from the left sidebar. Click Quantum Edge in the list to load it. The Strategy Tester runs a backtest right away.
Start with the defaults. Leave every setting at its default for your first session. For a ready-made chart, import the multi-strategy layout from our Discord.
Set your prop-firm limits. On a funded or evaluation account, open the prop-firm settings. Set the daily loss and profit limits from your firm's rule sheet. Pick a close time at or before your firm's cutoff.
Pick your webhook provider. Open the Webhook settings and choose PickMyTrade, TradersPost or Custom Template. PickMyTrade and Custom Template need both Auth Token and Account ID filled. TradersPost leaves both empty, because its webhook link identifies you.
Create one TradingView alert. Click the alert bell to start a new alert. Set Condition to the strategy, then alert() function calls only. Leave the Message box empty, because the strategy fills it in. Paste your provider's webhook link under Notifications, in Webhook URL.
Paper trade first. Point the alert at a paper or sim account. Run it for at least one full week before going live.
Automation
Quantum Edge can send each trade to your broker through a webhook. Three providers are built in: PickMyTrade, TradersPost and Custom Template. Pick the one that fits your broker account.
Your account
Pick this
What to know
Tradovate (including prop-firm accounts)
PickMyTrade
The entry goes out with its target and stop, held at the broker.
Rithmic, Interactive Brokers or another PickMyTrade broker
Not supported on Quantum Edge
On Quantum Edge, PickMyTrade routes to Tradovate only. Ask us in Discord before you connect one.
Anything else
TradersPost or Custom Template
TradersPost places targets and stops on Tradovate, NinjaTrader, TradeStation or tastytrade only. A Custom Template bridge must place them itself.
PickMyTrade. Fill in both the Auth Token and the Account ID. If either one is blank, orders are dropped without an error. Copy the Account ID exactly as PickMyTrade shows it. Give each algo its own PickMyTrade account, because a second same-direction entry is ignored. PickMyTrade setup →
TradersPost. Leave both the Auth Token and Account ID empty. TradersPost reads your identity from its webhook link instead. Confirm each order in TradersPost's paper mode before you go live.
Custom Template. Use it for any bridge not listed above. Your bridge must place the target and stop at the broker itself. Test it on paper before any live account.
All three providers use the alert setup from Your First Day. Never pick “Order fills and alert() function calls”, which sends every order twice. Webhook alerts need a paid TradingView plan, Essential or higher. After any update, delete your alert and create a new one.
Shifu Joins With The Next UpdateShifu is not built into Quantum Edge yet. It joins with the next Quantum Edge update. The release note will say when it is in. Do not route to Shifu through Custom Template or the PickMyTrade setting. That path is not one we support or test. Until then, PickMyTrade, TradersPost and Custom Template keep working.
PickMyTrade is our official partner for webhook automation. Code PARADOXALGO takes 10% off at PickMyTrade's checkout. We may earn a commission when you sign up through our links. Full steps: webhook automation guide, PickMyTrade, all integrations.

What your firm allows
Trailing drawdown. If your firm trails your drawdown, size your contracts and daily loss limit with that rule in mind. Paradox Algo has a multi-day guard built in.
Check your broker, too. On some routes, your broker's exit can differ from the chart's. On a prop account, check your broker is flat by your firm's cutoff.
Prove it in sim. Paper trade one full week in your firm's evaluation or sim account. Hit the daily loss limit once on purpose, and confirm new entries stop. Only after that should you move to a live account.
No Promise Of A PassWe can't promise that any evaluation will pass. That depends on the market during your evaluation and on your settings. The tools help you stay inside the rules you enter. Firm rules change without notice, so re-check your rule sheet often.
Check It Yourself
You never have to take our word for it. TradingView's Strategy Tester shows every trade, on your own chart and data.
Open the Strategy Tester. It runs the moment you add the algo to a chart. It lists every trade and every metric for you.
Check the trade count. A selective algo takes fewer trades, so check the count first. Make sure it is big enough to mean something.
Treat it as research. A backtest runs on past prices and cannot predict future results.
Why live can differ. Fills can land a few ticks away, from normal slippage and delay. Your broker's fill log is the source of truth.
Check the chain. Did every alert fire and reach your provider? Confirm each one in your provider's own log.
Check the fills. Compare each broker fill with the chart's entry, and note any slippage.
Day 1. Load Quantum Edge, leave the defaults and read the Strategy Tester. Set your limits and provider, then build one alert for paper or sim.
Week 1. Paper trade the full week and check every alert, order and fill. Hit your daily loss limit once in sim, on purpose.
Month 1. Change one setting at a time, then re-run the Strategy Tester. Stratera, included with Pro, can search settings for you. Go live only after the gates in the docs pass.
Questions
Does Quantum Edge trade for me?
No, you run the software on your own TradingView account. We do not manage trades or trade on your behalf. You can take its entries by hand, if you prefer. Or a webhook provider can route them to your broker.
Which plans include Quantum Edge?
Both Pro plans include it, monthly and yearly. Pro Monthly costs $90 a month, and Yearly Pro costs $270 a year. That yearly price works out to $22.50 a month. Core, at $60 a month, includes Paradox Algo but not Quantum Edge. You can upgrade from Core anytime in the billing portal.
How is it different from Paradox Algo?
Paradox Algo waits for several factors to agree before it trades. Quantum Edge looks for stretched moves and fades them instead. It suits range-bound markets, while Paradox Algo suits trending ones. Quantum Edge is Pro-only, and Paradox Algo comes with every plan.
Why does it skip so many setups?
Quantum Edge is selective on purpose, so it takes fewer setups. Each setup must pass its own confirmation before an entry fires. When volatility spikes, it stands aside instead of trading.
Can I use Shifu or CrossTrade with Quantum Edge?
Shifu is not built into Quantum Edge yet. It joins with the next update, and the release note will say when. CrossTrade is not one of Quantum Edge's providers. PickMyTrade, TradersPost and Custom Template all work today.
Will it pass my prop-firm evaluation?
We can't promise that any evaluation will pass. It depends on the market during your evaluation and on your settings. No one can predict the market, including us. The prop-firm tools help you stay inside the rules you set.
How fast do I get access?
Usually within 10 minutes of payment, and at most 24 hours. Then open Indicators, choose Invite-Only Scripts, and load Quantum Edge. If nothing arrives within 30 minutes, check spam, then email support@paradoxalgo.com.
Pairs With
Quantum Edge runs on its own, with nothing else on the chart. Your Pro plan also includes these separate tools.
Paradox Algo. Our flagship algo, and it comes with every plan. Run it on a separate chart, with its own alert.
TrendScore. Scores trend strength and marks choppy, range-bound stretches.
DeepWave. Shows how active the market is for the hour, with an expected range.
Stratera. A macOS app that searches TradingView strategy settings for you.
For education and research. Quantum Edge is trading software, not advice. Trading involves substantial risk of loss. Past performance does not predict future results.
Get Quantum Edge + The Full Suite
