Other pickmytrade.io brokers are not supported yetInteractive Brokers works on Paradox Algo v7.5 and Kairos Scalper v1.6 (see step 3). PickMyTrade also connects ProjectX / TopstepX, TradeStation, Ironbeam, TradeLocker, Tradier, cTrader and Match-Trader. Our products do not send those brokers' message format yet, so their orders would be rejected. Support is in progress. Ask us in Discord before you connect one of these. TradeStation accounts can use TradersPost in the meantime.

Setup In Four Steps

  1. Sign up on the right site. Tradovate account: pickmytrade.trade. Rithmic or Interactive Brokers account: pickmytrade.io. Enter PARADOXALGO at checkout for 10% off.
  2. Connect your broker inside PickMyTrade. Then copy your token and your exact account ID. On Rithmic, also note your connection name, for example RITHMIC1. Use one PickMyTrade account per algo: PickMyTrade ignores a second same-direction entry on the same account.
  3. Fill in your Paradox settings. Open the product's settings and scroll to the 🔗 Webhook settings. Set Webhook Provider to PickMyTrade (Paradox Algo v7.5 opens on Shifu, so pick it yourself), then paste the token and account ID. Rithmic only: type the connection name in PMT — Rithmic Connection Name. Tradovate: leave that field blank. On Paradox Algo v7.5 and Kairos Scalper v1.6, the last PickMyTrade row, PMT — Broker Platform, stays on Auto for Tradovate and Rithmic. For Interactive Brokers, pick it there and fill the connection name. IB has no trailing stop at PickMyTrade, so on Paradox Algo also set PMT — Trail Enable to 0. Broker Symbol: MNQ1! works and rolls with the front contract. An exact contract such as MNQZ6 also works but never rolls, so update it each quarter.
  4. Create one TradingView alert. Condition: your product + alert() function calls only (older guides call it “Any alert() function call”). Leave the Message box empty. In Notifications, turn on Webhook URL and paste the URL from your PickMyTrade dashboard. Test on a demo or paper account first.
Aurum uses a different alertOn Aurum, set the Condition to Order fills and alert() function calls and leave the pre-filled Message as it is. Aurum sends each order the moment it fills. "alert() function calls only" sends no trades on Aurum. Aurum setup →
Alerts are a frozen copy of your settingsAfter any settings change or product update, delete the alert and create it again. Updated Paradox Algo to v7.5? First confirm the Webhook Provider still shows PickMyTrade: v7.5 changed that default to Shifu. Field-by-field help lives in the Webhook Automation guide.

PickMyTrade Questions

Do I need PickMyTrade to use Paradox Algo?

No. Automation is optional, and you can take the trades by hand. Our products also support TradersPost, CrossTrade and a custom template, and Paradox Algo and Kairos Scalper also support Shifu. On a Rithmic account, PickMyTrade is the pick. On a Tradovate or NinjaTrader account, PickMyTrade or Shifu both work.

How do I get the 10% discount?

Which PickMyTrade site should I use?

Use pickmytrade.trade for Tradovate accounts, including Tradovate-powered prop-firm accounts. Use pickmytrade.io for Rithmic accounts.

My broker is Interactive Brokers, TopstepX or TradeStation. Will it work?

Interactive Brokers: yes, on Paradox Algo v7.5 and Kairos Scalper v1.6. Set PMT — Broker Platform to Interactive Brokers and fill the connection name. IB gets no trailing stop at PickMyTrade, so on Paradox Algo also set PMT — Trail Enable to 0. TopstepX and TradeStation: not yet. PickMyTrade supports those brokers, but our products do not send their message format yet. Support is in progress. TradeStation accounts can use TradersPost in the meantime. Ask us in Discord if you are unsure.

Will live trades match the backtest?

Automation sends the same signals the chart shows. Live fills can still differ, because slippage, delays and partial fills happen. Test on a demo or paper account first, then read Live vs Backtest.
